My Morning Jacket—Rocket Man (Elton John cover)

there are several several things that are just right with this cover.  though it is not the original it is almost just as damn good.  let’s not forget that MMJ are from Kentucky. also this song was played on the first episode of Californication and given the context of the episode was quite heartbreaking.  and let’s not forget that it just sounds completely badass.
