SCORE! FREEEEE 48” SONY BIG SCREEN for upstairs…we got upstairs TV for Thanksgiving! The donator is an engineer from MSFT. He was ‘finding a good home’ for his TV and screening people. I got it!! The 48” is EXACTLY what I wanted. I ‘applied’ for it the other day and thought he gave it away already. So I spent the whole weekend searching for one with a good price. It was only after I decided I really didn’t need one and abandoned my search efforts, that he emailed me and asked if I wanted it :) Eldon has a truck right now, too :) Now dad gets to help me move the 5million pound 6” bean bag upstairs for the ultimate comfy TV watching experience. I switched to TIVO this week. Saving a huge $125 a month on my cable bill. Although I am giving up a lot of channels, TIVO allows you to download movies from Blockbuster, iTunes, Netflix, etc….and they have a much better On Demand selection….and it has 40 hours of recording space and is much less than the Comcast DVR :) I’m very pleased!
