I’ve found Heaven at the grocery store. I cannot even describe how good this meatless ground round is. Lately I have had less and less of a desire to eat real meat because it saddens me so much how the poor animals are treated. I told someone the other day animals have feeling; they feel scared, sad, worried, happy, pain, etc…just like us. How would we like to be lined up in a rows walking to your death. It makes me lose my appetite to even think about it. For some reason I turkeys don’t get to me as much. Either does fish. Maybe because Jesus was an advocate of fish. I’m sure I’ll change my mind about turkey after Thanksgiving, but for now this stuff is amazing. Yves makes hot dogs, chicken strips, meat strips, skewer meatless meat, taco stuffing, turkey grounds, full entres…you name it. No cholesterol, high in protein, low in fat, high in potassium. I’m in love. I made a salad tonight and put this in it…I can’t even describe how heavenly this salad was. Heavenly enough to blog about it I guess :) There are 6 servings in one package. It is ground so 6 servings is eqaul to a 1/2 pound of ground meat and less than $4- a package. Safeway has a special right now: buy 1 get one free :)
